 Monday April 7th 1997: (The Day After)
 The Party is over now dudes! We did our best and we think that everything went well.... at least....
after a while..... and dont mention the words 'Power Failure' ever again!

Thursday March 22nd 1997:
We have made some final arrangements with the people of the University: there will be a catering service
during the party, performances on friday night, and enough tables! We're really ready to rock now.
Wednesday February 26th 1997:
After some complaints we have decided to host a Raytraced Graphics Competition. You can find the
rules on our Competition Rules page. We hope we have made many people happy, and that many
people will enter the Raytrace compo. We have also added the X'97 Takeover C64 Pages!
Friday February 14th 1997:
After a reasonable delay, we finally released the Official X'97 Takeover Invitation Intro, and version 2.0
in the official information file. Most of the information of the information file is also in HTML form on
this web site. It's also possible to use our reservations form to make reservations! And check out the
pictures of the Auditorium!
Thursday February 13th 1997:
Well well well! We've finally moved these pages to the server in Eindhoven! Please update your links
to http://www.takeover.nl/X97/! We also found a server to host our Guestbook!
Tuesday February 4th 1997:
Great news! People from the TU Computerclub STACK are going to help us setting up the
X'97 Takeover Party Network! More information soon!
Thursday January 23 1997:
We are currently looking for a server to host our CGI scripts. The people in Eindhoven (where we
will soon move this site to) do not allow us to install CGI scripts. For the Hacom server goes the
same. So you guys have to wait just a little longer for our Guestbook and Reservations Form.
Monday January 13 1997:
We've arranged web space for these pages at a server at the Technical University of Eindhoven.
This means that the Official X'97 Takeover WWW Site will soon move to another URL. The reason for
this is that we want to update the pages during the party with photos and up-to-date news from the
party place. This will be easier to accomplish when the site is set up in Eindhoven.
The URL of the new page will be http://www.takeover.nl/X97/. We
will make a link to it from the
current site.
Sunday January 12 1997:
As you can see, we redesigned the web pages! We found out how to do tables, blue bars and drop
shadows! :) Also, we've added a page with links to other parties.
Sunday January 5 1997:
The Sound Distribution Channel is supplying the X'97 Takeover FTP Server. From this FTP server
you can download X'97 Takeover related stuff, and all the productions that will be released during
the party will be uploaded to this site.
Friday 27 December 1996:
JAL and Sparcus travelled to Denmark for The Party 6 and spread over a thousand
flyers and
also released the pre-invitation!
Wednesday 25 December 1996: (first day of Christmas!)
Hurray! The Official X'97 Takeover World Wide Web Site is in the Air! Since we could not get in
touch with the WWW administrator of the Technical University in Eindhoven, we had to move to
JAL's account. As soon as the account at the server in Eindhoven is opened we plan to move
these pages.
